My netbook (Asus 1015PN) like most others only has three USB ports and after having to sell my desktop and thus relying 100% on my netbook now those three quickly are used up. I already have a couple USB hubs but was wondering if anyone ever found a really micro one just like they have micro bluetooth, wifi, keyboard, etc USB adapters. I'm looking for something that doesn't have a cable it just plugs right into the USB port on the side of any laptop/netbook and is like a long bar with two, three, or even four USB ports on the opposite side of it. Think of this as a USB hub: http://www.summitsource.com/images/products/ACS110.jpg and in basic that's exactly what I want. Has anyone ever come across something like this?

Maybe you could solder together some microUSB ports (the same ones that new mobile phones have), firstly ripping out the electronics from some tiny usb hub - like the http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/usb-gadgets/e935/ or http://gizmodo.com/190891/lindys-micro-usb-hub - to later reuse that electronics with the physical microUSB ports.

that way, you'd get a proper micro USB hub.
