Help me can t burn CD/DVD

Hi I have Ubuntu 11.04 whit all the last updates
Evrything work ok, but i have to change the CD/DVDS drive
I just buy a Samsung Writemaster Laser SATA
i can read the CD/DVD but i cannot burn
I have tryed Brasero, K3b, etc.. even CDs and DVD:same result
tryed the opyicval drive in another machine (windows) and i can burn ok
i don t want to solve the problem, because i don t have the time
i WILL BUY ANOTHER DRIVE BUT I HAVE FEAR TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM
can someone help me? perhap a pioner, sony, lg...that is well know to wortk in ubuntu

can someone help me? perhap a pioner, sony, lg...that is well know to wortk in ubuntuHi, all drives work good in ubuntu as far as I know, you do need to install the restricted packages.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extrasopen a terminal and paste this command in it.
