How to create table like panel on lowerside of my screen???

I don't know anything about that panel.It appears in different shapes, like a stand or table and all launcher icons will be standing on it.In some videos, some animated character moves on it from one side to other.I saw it in few tutorial videos and photos.Please tell me what is it called and how to create it???and also please mention any safe sites to download theme packages.I tried to download, but I am unable to install them.I don't know whether the format of them is appropriate or not...

I think you're referring to a dock and there are a number of them . Some found in the software that can be installed include Docky , Awn , and GLX/Cairo Dock . I was an Awn user prior to Unity . If using 11.04 you would want to install the dock in Classic Gnome. You would remove the bottom Gnome panel after installing the dock.

I know the site genome look.org, but the problem is, I don't know what to select.There are so many categories in it like GTK2x,metacity etc...Which is the theme packages category suitable for me???I am using 11.04,gnome.:(

You can install the docks I mentioned in my first post from the Ubuntu Software Center and they will be compatible with 11.04 Classic Gnome .
