I just installed ubuntu on a separate hard disk that I just bought, and Windows xp wont start!
Ubuntu and Windows xp are on separate hard disks (as explained above) Here is my problem:
When Computer boots up, grub kicks in, and it shows both windows xp and ubuntu on the list. Grub automatically selects ubuntu instead of windows xp. I used startup manager (from ubuntu software centre) to select xp as the default OS but it does not work! My only (temp) solution is to scroll to xp and press enter and it boots fine.
Any ideas?
