wubi execution error on 7/2

I downloaded wubi.exe today (7/2). When I execute it, it shows
Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6b7c 75b6b7c

I executed with an old wubi.exe working yesterday (7/1)

What do you mean by 7/2 and 7/1?

Where did you download the executables?

The error message sounds as if there may be something corrupted.

Please provide more information.

Do you have a card reader in your PC? If so, you might want to disable it while Wubi does its stuff.

Another person mentioned about the reade. Once I pulled out the reader I could install Ubuntu 11/04. I have another machine that does not have reader and got the same error.

Anyway I am making progress by pulling out the reader. Thanks.

Okay, sorry for the misunderstanding.

As lisati mentioned, this usually has something to do with a card reader, but also iPhone or other device attached to the computer.

If you are able to install now, great :-)
