Please Help

I have downloaded ubuntu 11.04(32 bit) and burnt it in a CD and run on my Laptop ( HP nc6000 ). The machine booted with the CD and after pressing the installation button the screen remained at UBUNTU loading for a long time and gave error as shown in the screenshot attached.

please guide where I am wrong with the installation of the laptop is not compaitable with the software

better to prepare your partitions first, then use the "alternate" iso, burnt at the slowest speed, or better, use a usb stick if possible to boot on. This kernel panic can be due to acpi conflict on specific chipset (can bypass with noacpi on the boot line).

Make sure to burn at the lowest possible speed:
