the model is a HP Photosmart R1717 Digital Camera
I've bought it many years ago and somewhere along the way it stopped working for no obvious reason. I had it checked and I was told it couldn't be fixed...
After a while i found it among other old things and decided to give it some life back.
So any ideas you might have, even if that means to open the case of the camera with whatever that means, please post.....?

drive over it with the car and then throw it away so you wont be spending any more time with it.

i reckon it will blend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zcdoa0XCFo

if not then try to blend it, and the project can be, put it back together ;-)

of course the obvious project if you dont want to throw it away would be to FIX it ;-)

What's that line about having the wisdom to know what you can & can't change?

I live next to a public parking lot where people throw trash and break beer bottles in my yard. I would probably find a place to obviously post it outside so that people would think they're under video surveillance.

Put it in the recycling bin.

Glue it to a park bench with "Gorilla Glue". Then take a working video camera and watch people try to remove it. Post on YouTube. Post the link here.

Burry it in the ground and in 1000 years people will kill to have it.
