Jeans too hot for summer so what pants can I wear that would be cooler, i have a pair of chords, that are 55% polyester, 45% cotton will those be cooler.

Tomorrow is going to be 30 Celsius tomorrow and I work outside and I must wear pants, so what would be cooler?

When I worked outside, and the weather got that warm, I didn't wear pants. My job was dirty enough that I had to wear coveralls, so I didn't bother with pants or a shirt. :)

Cords seem like they would be hot. Jeans would probably be alright...30 isnt that bad...

Light coloured cotton chinos would be coolest for long pants.

Ex-clothing salesman here. Anything synthetic, unless specifically manufactured to be cool (cf. high-dollar sportswear) will in fact be toasty. To stay cool you're really looking for a lightweight natural fiber. Cotton is great, wool is too (but can be itchy if of low quality).

Personally, I'd go for a lightweight 100% cotton chino.
