creating a right click menu and copy the clipboard to a text editor.

HI friends, I want to add a right click menu item so that when i click on that menu the the text present on the clipboard should be copied and pasted to a background text editor.Please suggest some ways to achieve this. I want to do this in python.

To what do you want to add the menu to?
To the menu that appears when i make a right click. No matter in what ever the application i may be in.May be it is called a global clipboard.
