Desktop Background => I saw the menu taps =>Theams, Background & Fonts. I couldn't get the visual effects menu tap in Ubuntu 11.04 why?
Please help me, I am a new Ubuntu linux User.

The tab you are looking for has been removed. Why? Why not?
In Natty, you select the window manager at the login screen. The options are as follows:

Ubuntu = Unity
Ubuntu (Desktop Effects) = Compiz
Ubuntu (No effects) = Metacity.
