Thought I might try something new... :D

Desktops screenies are fine, but personally, I spend 99% of my time in the browser (that's where my friend's live) not on my desktop.

I don't think I'm alone in this. I'd like to see where you "live".

Point taken.

Technically speaking, Conky is sitting in it's own invisible window - separate from the desktop - but you can still see part of the desktop through it, albeit shaded.

The larger point is, I'm curious to see some where ppl spend most of their time - and that would be in their browser - playing with their friends - NOT sitting idle on their desktop.

Yeah, why not post these in the regular screenshot thread? That's a very attractive layout.

Here's mine (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10973627&postcount=460) in the Screenshots thread. My latest post there was all about the browser, anyway. = ) I have a couple of Chrome apps in my dock and the Chrome Touch and Speeddial2 extensions installed, so it all feels very browser-centric and phoneish.

I like that using Chrome apps from the desktop, Gmail, Facebook, YouTube, etc. don't have address bars. Chrome Touch makes up for the lack of Back and Forward buttons.
