Hi guys, I have had this massive pain in the neck this weekend when I had reinstalled and upgraded Ubuntu, namely that Ubuntu would not recognise my Wlan card. I finally figured it out after like 5 hours of browsing and playing around with the computer, but I was honestly at the point when I thought I would reinstall Windows XP and that's it. the only thing that gave me some strength was that I know ubuntu is a hundred times better, and my computer has been happier ever since I first upgraded to Ubuntu.
So now I would like to share my experience with those interested, so if you want to read my post about setting up the Wlan Broadcom 4401 card then go ahead and click on the link in my signature or here. Feel free to comment by the way, or to sign up to the email reminders on my blog. Ta
