I have compiz and usually it is ok.
This time its not working correctly
Im running 10.10 maverick
The compiz seettings manager wont start

Have you tried starting it from a terminal (ccsm or gksu ccsm) ? If so, did you get any error messages that might shed light on the problem?

Have in mind that ccsm is not installed by default. You have to install it yourself.

Install it through compiz fusion.

Yes I have always installed it through synaptic. I always install all the components. This is on a Inspiron Dell laptop 32 bit
