Anybody got an Ubuntu Baseball Cap?

A few years ago I got an Ubuntu baseball cap. It was great, and it was the original design (multi-color logo).

I wore it just about everywhere, and got into a number of conversations with people who knew what Ubuntu was (even if they were Fedora or openSUSE users)! It was great!

Since then, I have lost my hat :( So I went to the Canonical store to buy a replacement one (even if it was the new design). Lo' and behold, they don't carry it anymore!!

I sent them a message to see if they were getting them back, or even if they have one shoved in the corner of the storeroom they've forgotten! But they said no. They even said there were no plans of offering them again! [-X

Unfortunately this product has been discontinued and has not been confirmed if a new style of this product will be showing on the store.
I can get these nice cycling bib-shorts (http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=776) but no Baseball cap?!! :confused: I don't get it. I would think a baseball cap, that they obviously sold out of ... twice since there are 2 designs, would be something to keep stock if even for promotional purposes.

Does anybody have an extra Ubuntu baseball cap (black)? I'm not into beanies and there are no other hats available.

Heck, I wonder if there is an Ubuntu fedora hat band ;)

I have a bright red, Red Hat (baseball cap not a fedora) and a "classic Novell est 1983" hat in dark red. But yea, I would like a black Ubuntu baseball cap.

I had one person recognize it while at a town function and said "how many people do you think know what that is?" referring to the Ubuntu logo. :)

Maybe I should start a contest and whichever distro gives me a hat (or two.. just in case), that's the distro I replace on my current machines! :lolflag:

I don't know if the restricted_extras includes everything, but for those that require crystal-clear legality (like professionals) then this helps deflect any issues to Canonical (for offering it) and Fluendo.

I looked around. The closest I could find (quality-wise) was a Fedora cap.. which I got! I probably would have held off if there was some hint that something "may" be coming down the line in the near future, even if it was only a possibility!

So, do I buy one now while I know they have some, and hold onto it for when my Fedora cap gets worn and thin?

Would have been really cool if they had emailed me when it was returned instead of waiting until I happen to browse through the store again.

I love the cycling jersey but until I lose a couple of kilos or 10 I aint gonna wear that !!

The clothes in the shop are all brutal looking. Not a chance I'd be seen wearing any of it.
