I am doing a lab at our high school of 40 machines running 10.10 and ultimately 11.04. I want to have remote desktop running, but a couple of things I want to do. First I want to remove the Remote Desktop option from the Systems menu. Secondly, I would like to tweak the configuration file, so that it allows for login with a password to the vnc client, but no notification to the client that the system is being monitored.
Is that possible, and if so, how?
