Hi,

I have a 1 row x 4 columns workspace switcher on my...uh...taskbar. All of a sudden it has developed some new behaviour. I used to be able to move open windows from one workspace to another by clicking and dragging their icons within the workspace swithcer window. I can no longer do that and when I rollover any of the workspaces with the mouse it claims they are all workspace 1. Also, now when I click on a window to switch to a new workspace, say from 1 to 3, a 1x4 graphic appears in the middle of the screen with an rightward arrow in the 3rd box showing me the direction from which I navigated to reach the 3rd window. The graphic disappears fairly quickly but it's useless and somewhat annoying. More annoying is the loss of the ability to move windows between workspaces by clicking and dragging. I upgraded to 10.04 (long overdue) and the behaviour persists. I don't remember making any changes in 9.04 that preceded the change in behaviour.

Does anyone know how I can get the old workspace switcher behaviour back?

Any advice is appreciated.

Regards.
