Hi,

I have an old desktop I've been working to put back together and get working. When I took it apart I was under the assumption there was a problem with the mobo. Now I've begun to question that (the information that led to that belief was very slim).

I'm looking online right now but if anyone knows of a Linux distro I can use to diagnose/ check hardware in that machine I would sure appreciate it. Something that runs live would be preferable. I'm thinking knoppix and am reading about it right now but I wonder what you guys would use.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Jake
