I downloaded and installed Ubuntu 11.04 and it worked right. I wanted to use the windows boot launcher instead of the one that came with Ubuntu. So I set the Ubuntu one off so that it would launch into windows instead and than was going to get it so I could launch into Ubuntu using EasyBCD. This didn't work. I had to re-install Ubuntu. So I uninstalled the other one and had windows working right and did the installation again. This time when I launched Ubuntu a message came up.

"There is a problem with configuration server.
(/usr/libgconf2-4/gcon-sanity-check-2 exited with status 256)"

I have looked at how to fix this and have not figured out how to. Can someone please help me? I used Ubuntu about two years ago and want to use it again.

I forgot to put than it takes me to another screen where it says "GNOME power manager not installed correctly" in the top right corner of the screen and it asks me to log in but when I do the message comes up again.
