Computer Specs:

Motherboard - Asus m4a78lt-m

Cpu - Amd Phenom II x4 955 BE with very loud stock fan.

Video card - Evga 460 GTX 1 GB

So should I get 8 gb's of ram or should I just get 4 gb's of ram and buy aCorsair Cooling Hydro Series H50 for about the same amount of money that the 8 gb's of ram would cost?

I would go with the Corsair, specs are the same and they are a brand I know and trust. And it's cheaper.

I'd go with 8GB since they're the same speed. Water cooling is excessive in modern computers.

Patriot is a fairly new (however) great high end company. Their timings seem tighter, and therefore less leakage. Corsair is getting too big to be anything worth it anymore. They are in the same basket as Kingston with me. While not bad, just Valu-Ram elcheap-o for a quick system build. I have Patriot in my gaming rig and I have no complaints, everything seems tight and decent.
