"Ubuntu is an ancient african word, meaning "I can't configure Debian"

I installed Ubuntu yesterday, it was way more easier than Debian"

Heh, yeah urbandictionary is kind of funny. Unfortunately they deleted most of the entries two years ago.

The first time I read this phrase was on /. half a year ago. Although there Gentoo and not Debian was used.

anyway, i think that it perfectly describes the relation of debian and ubuntu - ubuntu is really easyer. i tried debian once (i still have the discs and i use the repositories - although ubuntus packages are more stable, i can acess these packages without internet connection), and i have to say, that it really took a lot of configuring, that i didn't understand at that time.
