Right so i really enjoy using linux, i think it's a great operating system. The only thing which i didn't like is the deprivation of all the programs i was used to (photoshop etc) although there are cheap mimics like GIMP, this is the sole reason i'm moving back to windows.

Anyway,

I am installing windows xp again, I lost the disc so a techie has given me an .iso file.

What do i do to be able to make it bootable on my USB stick?

That's all really, thanks for reading :)

Bumping the thread within less than an hour is plain rude and will not help you to get an answer.

It is a lot easier to burn it to CDs or a DVD. XP was never intended to be installed from a USB, it's just to old. Do you still have the License Key from your original install of XP, or did the teckie give you a License Key? Is a License Key required?

I am suspicious that the .iso of XP you have is Pirated. It could have malware, spyware, etc., that you wouldn't want on your computer.
