I too have stuffed up my ******* boot when upgrading grub 2
Have two HDDs, one with Vista and one with 10.04. I would choose which disk to load at boot time. Ran update this morning and in 7 days of updates, Grub 2 was updated. I was asked if I wanted to place grub on each disk and (foolishly) said yes. Now I can only boot into lucid. Physically disconnecting the lucid drive just gives a grub> prompt.
Ran boot_info_script and the results are:
