I restart to upgrade ubuntu 10.10 to 11.4
but during upgrade at package istllation it stopped !
so i try to restart system
but this message appear "continue to wait or press s to skip mounting or press M for manual recovery "
i try to wait but nothing done !
can i use any of these methods for full recovery??

I am not sure that it is worth the effort to recover the system. Might be faster to rescue your user files and install 11.04 anew.

but all i need the home directory files
how can i get it ?

If you have not encrypted, you can access all your files in /home using a live boot.

I would think bookmarks would be in hidden files in /home (for example in .mozilla if you use firefox). That folder can become visible by pressing Ctrl+h in the home directory.
