Hi,
I was unsuccessful in my attempts to boot from the ocz revodrive x2. I followed different fixes posted on different forums and coudln't make them work. I tried them both with ubunut and suse.
I think I am not linux savvy enough...
Anyway, what are the chances that this bug (777531) (see e.g. http://fossplanet.com/f10/%5Bbug-777531%5D-%5Bnew%5D-grub-fails-install-ocz-revodrive-156080/ )
will be fixed in the next release of any major linux distro?
Who sets the priorities? Does the number of users who want to boot from raid0 ssds have to exceed a critical threshold?
Cheers,
duschl

This problem seems over a year old, and it seems to be the fault of the manufacturers. So I fear it won't be fixed soon.

Can you try this method to install: http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?76486-Revodrive-Ubuntu-10.04-install-issues&p=546024&viewfull=1#post546024
