Hi, I have installed yesterday to two of one my neighbors Ubuntu 11.04, and what's most weird is that there I saw that Ubuntu 11.04 updated kernel(s) to 2.6.38-10 (dunno what version, probably generic?), but on my home computer I have kernel ver. 2.6.38-9-generic - so I ask, why didn't come this update to me.
They have slightly better PCs than mine and yeah all of them are x86 including mine.
Answer me please.

Cheers and thanks on any answer in the advance.

Even more weird is that my fully updated 11.04 has 2.6.38-8, not 9 or 10 as you describe. Is it a difference in enabled repositories, eg backports, proposed, etc, or different servers set for updates?

I have enabled all options, backports, proposed - all 4 things are enabled (as I remember), but main question is why people have different versions of kernel?
And why update manager is acting weird? - Someone has update of kernel, someone not.

P.S -> And also default UPDATE/DOWNLOAD main server is enabled in all of computers (because I did this manually)
