Hi folks, I've started doing some searching on this issue, but I'm struggling to navigate because of this problem!
I've recently installed UbuntuStudio 10.10 - no funny stuff installed (Chrome is installed but not much else non-standard).
Every now and again when launching programs or switching between them, the mouse stops working properly. The cursor still moves fine, but clicking on things doesn't work. If I right-click in the task bar that sometimes bring up a context menu, then the next left-click in a window often works - the window comes into focus and I can use that program again. Some times it doesn't.
I decided to try and install KDE in case Gnome was the issue, but when I launched Synaptic, I got a message like "Could not grab your mouse. A Malicious client may be eavesdropping".
Does anyone know what the issue might be? Faulty mouse?
Thanks!
