Here's something I came across on Lifehacker yesterday. It's a guide that shows you how to install Silverlight on FF portable. Anybody want to see if you can watch Netflix on Linux with this? Link to article: http://lifehacker.com/tips/forum?comment=40172610

This looks cool. I'm gonna' try it.

Edit: In fact, it looks like it might be installable under wine - skip the USB altogether.

Yes, I believe it is. I guess I could've mentioned that in the post. Anyway, if this works, we won't have to wait for the HTML5 streaming which will come who-knows-when. Good luck and let us know the results. I would have tried it myself, but I don't have access to an account (it's my parents).

I've gotten Silverlight 4 installed via wine in the past, with Windows Firefox. You can hack it in there if you have patience.

But I could never get netflix to load...

Hmm... Well, maybe it will work with the portable version. I guess we'll find out.
