Hello,
I recently installed ubuntu 11.04 on my laptop. My laptop has a built-in
webcam, I tested it with Cheese software and it's working. I set up the
Empathy Internet Messaging and connected to my account. But when I
started a webcam chat with my friend I received this error message:
[Friend's Name]'s software does not understand any of the video formats
supported by your computer.
> Techincal Details:
Codec negotiation failed: There was no intersection between the remote
codecs and the local ones.
... The chat will be ended after I get this message.
Since I'm a new ubuntu user, it's harder to me to understand this kind of
things/problems, if someone know's what's the problem, please tell me!
Thanks!
