Oops. The story of my ubuntu adventure to date is fraught with misadventure.
My current dilemma: tried to enable CompizConfigure Settings Manager, enable desktop cube, then tried to get back to desktop wall (the stock settings).
Problem: now when I boot into ubuntu 11.04 classic, I have non movable frames, no borders, general mayhem!
Attempted fixes: replace –compiz didnt work. Replace –metacity, works for the session, is gone when relog. Current workaround is using the ubuntu (no effects).
How do I get my stock stettings back into my ubuntu classic so I can have my borders and buttons on the borders back? Searching only yielded lukewarm results.
