View Full Version : [SOLVED] Adobe Flash Plugin Glitching

Not sure if this is the right place, though so feel free to move if it isn't.
I recently updated my adobeflash player plugin via the update manager and now a lot of things are broken for me. Many flash elements of web pages now show boxes and deformities and as I scroll they become worse. This doesn't seem to be a problem on Youtube, but everywhere else (including video services such as blip.tv) things are practically unusable (although blip.tv works fine fullscreen for some odd reason).

Is anyone else having these issues, or is there some way I can roll-back the version to fix these issues?

Running 11.04 64-Bit, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a localised error to the 64-bit plugin.

Install Flash-Aid (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flash-aid/) and run the extension wizard. It will detect installed flash plugins, remove them and install the beta 64bit from Adobe Labs. Additionally, it will apply some tweaks that should improve performance and fix common issues.

You are welcome.

Keep in mind that flash version, although works better, hasn't been updated since November. So it is strongly advised to use NoScript to block flash content from sites you don't trust.
