Until 10.10, I could put the .desktop file at
~/.local/share/autostart (or autorun, not sure)
make the .desktop file executable and that was all I had to do to make my script (in which the .desktop points at) start on startup...
Now, what's the way to do it without the need of root permissions (because my program will do it, I don't want it only for personal use)
