Hey all,

Brand new to Ubuntu. I just installed the latest version on my netbook Mini 1000 that previously had Windows XP on it. I just did a full install from USB stick.

Everything was perfectly fine for three days and now today I'm getting "error: invalid extent" and "grub recovery" but nothing else on boot. I'm not sure how I did it, but a few times I got the GRUB recovery page to come up and I tried going into the recovery option but that ends with a bunch of failed messages.

Any idea what could be the issue here?

Thanks.
