I am a n00b to Open Source and Videos... But I am loving the fact that there are some awesome tools out there available for free such as (X)Ubuntu and Cinelerra.
As I start down this road of making my own videos, I would love to help push the "Open Source" cause. One way I think I could do this would be Adding a "Professional" Style Intros to the beginning of the videos. You know you have seen different "Production" companies Intro's like the one with Lion and the Gate... Or the one with the Lightening and Tree.
Now I am an ultra n00b and have NO Skills yet... But if it is legal to do so, I challenge YOU to create an Intro using Ubuntu's, Cinelerra's and maybe even Gimp's Logo/Symbol's that rival those professional ones that we all could use at an Intro to our videos to help promote Linux and Open Source solutions.
Again that is if it is legal to use those symbols and logos in videos...
I will give credit to the Intro's Creator at the end every video and place any links in description if you so desire.
BTW which site are you guys using to post video and why? Cinelerra guys seem to be using Vimeo... But why?
Thanks,
