Hi guys, i'm new, i installed Ubuntu the last days, because windows ist stupid and crashes all the time...
I use Ubuntu 10.4
My Problem ist, that i use my Laptop in school and i make my notes on it.

So i need for Physiks, and Chemics a good draw porgramm.

On windows i useed piant.net because i can modify my lines.
With these Options i can draw good graphs and such stuff.

I tested a lot of Programm in Ubuntu but they are all not so good.

I tested:
- Gimp
- Krita
- mypaint
- whiteboard
-mono paint
...

i hope you can help me.

Is there any option to run Paint.net in Wine?

Thanks for help

hi

first, thanks for the fast answer.

I tested Pinta, it looks nice, but i cant modify the lines, so i can't draw graphs

I hope there are other programms,

now i test ooDraw

What about Inkscape? It is a vector-based drawing program rather than a pixel-based on. ooDraw I think is similar.

Try MS Paint or http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19956 for Paint .NET 2.5 on Wine.

I quite like GIMP but i guess it depends what you actually want to draw on it
