Just to spice up the ol' idea of taking pictures of your computers, let's do it strictly for laptops!

I'll get us started:

My family has that laptop at home too - Inspiron E1705, it still works great after 5+ years.

Here's mine: (These aren't my pictures - I don't have any of them with me right now)

My Lenovo 3000 G520 Running Ubuntu 10.04
Reflecting is my keyboard on my other system. My wife liked my laptop so much with Ubuntu that she took it over. That accounts for the flower desktop. ;)

Here we go! An old (Jan 2005) Acer Travelmate 2200 running Lubuntu 11.04.

It goes extremely well for an old machine that wasn't even top of range when bought, but definitely in the bargain basement.

Celeron 2.66GHz, 512 MB ram, ATI 9100 IGP video card, 30GB ATA HDD, Netgear WG511v2 wireless pcmcia card (works extremely well with wpa, using ndiswrapper).

My Dell Inspiron 1012. I have tried other OS's on this too. MeeGo for instance. But nothing runs as well as Ubuntu.

This is a link to a 19 second video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4jk_F4CdcQ&NR=1) showing off my System76 Serval when I first got it, running 9.04. Currently running Ubuntu 10.10 and still going strong. I have been meaning to make a video review of it for a while but never get around to it.

Niice!
Yeah I watched some youtube videos of it after seeing your pic..
and that thing can be put through hell and back, and still work!
(like when it was dragged around through dirt, mud and rocks , chained to the back of an ATV) O_o
or run over by a hummer!
Amazing! lol :)
