Error when I try to run VMWare workstation.

Hi, when i try and run the latest vmware workstation, i get an error at compiling virtual machine monitor it says:

Unable to build kernel module.

See log file /tmp/vmware-root/setup-7625.log for details.

When i try and go to the folder vmware-root it says i do not have the required permissions. Please help. I'm on the latest 11.04, i really need this working.

VMware needs patched for kernels after 2.6.36. There are threads on the VMware forum, with the patches.

I tried those patches, I keep on getting errors.
