Hi, my reader&burning CD are damage and i need to install ubuntu.. i test ubuntu with wubi but i need full install.. i really hate windows now! how i can do if i cant read a cd?

I hope you can help

You would have to install from a USB stick maybe.

Welcome to the Ubuntu forums!

Forum member bcbc has written a guide on how to transfer a Wubi installation to it's own partition. This is a good option as it will keep your settings.

In his instructions for a manual migration he states:

If there is no swap, just ignore lines containing /dev/sda6.


So if that is your only concern just follow his instructions in the 'manual migration' section and disregard commands for sda6.
