Here , i present the optimized Hari's Auto Kernel Compile and Install Script v0.4
It is a One click installer for installing linux kernel , the linux kernel compilation is a tedious process , now with this utility users can tune the kernel parameters easily and entire compilation and installation will be automatically done by this script....
Steps to Run this script:
1. create a directory in desktop (or any place where you have read write privileges)
2. Download Auto Kernel Compile and Install Script v0.4 for Linux from here (http://www.ziddu.com/download/15326967/kernel_install_by_hari_v0.4.0.sh.zip.html) and extract it
3.Download latest kernel from kernel.org (http://kernel.org/)
4. Place both the files in same directory and goto terminal
5. In Terminal , do the following
cd <directory that contains those 2 files>
sh kernel_install_by_hari_v0.4.0.sh
6. Follow the instructions from there on.
Tested on UBUNTU and FEDORA
