Default source.list

I changed my source.list and I am not having problems with updating my system. Does anyone know what the default source.list should look like?

I don't have a maverick list anymore, but I should think that if you change "natty" to "maverick" in each instance, then the natty list would become the maverick list:

interestingly this is exactly what my sources.list files looks like. Nevertheless I am getting this error:

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
I should probably say that I added repositories to install the latest version of digikam, following instruction on this page.

as far as I can see, these reps are listed in a folder called sources.list.d and not in the sources.list file.

OK, I see the problem. "Failed to fetch ..." means there is some problem accessing the stated source repo. It could be anything from a crashed server, to an interruption of Internet service, to a temporary lock while new files are being uploaded to the repo. Whatever, it is not a problem on your system (unless the repo address has changed or something like that).

If the error message is annoying, just put a # in front of the "deb http://....." line(s) in the source list file that it is using.

In case there is some error in that particular source list file (the one for digikam), if you can paste it in maybe it will be obvious.
