View Full Version : [kubuntu] Cannot drag windows because single(!) click maximizes

More often than not a single(!) click in the title bar maximizes (or unmaximizes) the window (the action occurs a split second after the key-down event already). This makes it virtually impossible to drag a window across the desktop.
I am not 100% sure but sometimes after maximizing and unmaximizing the window a few times, it simply works again.
It also *seems* that pressing the mouse button while moving the mouse quickly over the title bar gives better results, but doing it with the mouse (nearly) at rest fails more or less always.
I've checked again and again, but the system settings say maximize on DOUBLE click.
I have a guts feeling that the problem has become worse recently, but I'm not sure if it is some hardware problem (e.g. some keboard key unwillingly pressed) or a "feature" inroduced with some system update.
If it is the latter, I hope someone can tell me how to deactivate it.

Thanks in advance
