ubuntu installer 4k sectors

Hello,

Does anyone know if the partitioning tool included in the natty installer automatically aligns to the new physical 4k sectors? I know the most recent gparted live cd does, but I don't want to bother with that if I can just use the installer. Especially because I want to set up an encrypted partition and already know how to do that stuff with the installer.

It aligns to a 1 MB boundary, which is a multiple of 4kb.
