View Full Version : [all variants] Live CD without hard disk access

how could one create an Ubuntu Live CD without hard disk access. This means, that the user of the Live CD should not be able (or only with a lot of effort) to mount hard discs regardless if they are there or not. The first idea is to remove the IDE, SATA modules from kernel. How can this be achieved?

Btw: Saving files should be possible via VPN.

PS: The Live CD is intended for use in exams on the examinees' Laptops instead of complex calculators. This is only legal, if the examinee has no access to private data.
