I've been using Ubuntu since the previous release. I had a couple issues but nothing like this. I meet all hardware requirements. Nevertheless, after upgrading to 11.04 two days ago I seem to be missing the unity interface, title bars, and menu bars, in addition to my background being a translucent mirror with icons being transposed across the y axis.
