I was wondering, would Ubuntu 11.04 support quad-core processors? By support I mean Fully using the quad-core's capacity.

But 32 vs. 64 bit does come into play when you're talking about max number of processors/cores

32bit max supported CPUs = 32
64bit max supported CPUs = 256

not that you'll get anywhere near those figures on desktops for a number of years, but hey
