I have winxp on my master hard drive and a fresh ubuntu 10.10 on my second hard drive. I had to wipe out the ubuntu and start over with a fresh install. Each os was installed without the other powered up so they don't see each other. I now want the ubuntu drive to give me a grub menu at bootup so I can pick my os option. I found a simple terminal entry that did the job perfect a few days ago but can't find it in the forum now. I think it was like sudo grub install ...or maybe update. It simply looked at both disk and made a menu on the ubuntu drive and didn't affect the widows drive at all.. Could someone tell me the entry or the forum page.
