With 2gb ram, swap usage will not be a factor in playing games. Is this a laptop?

I set my swap to 2 gigs, partly because ubuntu uses it to store itself on when it goes to sleep. I think that 2 gigs of swap is just about right, it will allow enough room for when you need to have the swap for playing games.
