Had Gnome 3 running fine for about a week, but now when I log in I get a screen up saying something like "opps, something went wrong" and then a logout button - if I hit that and then log back in everything comes up fine. This seems to happen every time I start up - once I log in a second time it's all fine, it's just that first time. Any ideas or places I can check?

Been facing the same problem. We're having a discussion about it here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10888842&postcount=186). Feel free to chime in.

Interestingly, if I left the machine for a few more seconds it _may_ solve the problem. Also, after hitting some updates last night it seemed to log in ok this morning, so maybe it's fixed.

In particular this post (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10945759&postcount=240) seems to have solved it for me.
