I usually install Flash anyway but I was in the middle of distro hopping when I decided to check my balance on-line.
I'd like to applaud my bank but I have a feeling the HTML option is for the benefit of smart phone users.

Wells Fargo does have a app for android users... so no flash or html needed... plus android runs Flash if you do wanna run the normal website in a browser.

If 2.38% of all depositors in a bank suddenly decide to withdraw their funds a run on the bank (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_run) can happen. A bank that antagonizes even a small percentage of its depositors be it GNU / Linux users or IOS users is playing with fire.
