View Full Version : [ubuntu] Time/date app difficulty

Just upgraded to 11.04. Using Gnome.
The time-date app appears normally in the upper left of the screen, but appears not to work as with version 10.
Before upgrading, I was able to use the drop-down display to show the time and weather in my home town, Bordeaux (FR), and several other cities in which I do business. There appears to be no way to add extra cities in this new version.
Can anyone guide me to the source of this problem? Or is the app just no longer capable of showing time in additional cities?
Thanks for helping,

The time and date application no longer includes weather. To add weather use this code and logout and in or restart.
sudo apt-get install indicator-weather

That seems retrograde--wonder why this feature was removed; I found it very convenient. Anyway thanks for the tip.
However I am more interested in having the time available for the various cities where my customers reside.
Is there a fix for this?
Thx.
