There is a certain Font called BALARAM which I would use in Windows. Is it possible to install it in Linux (Libre Office writer). Where can I get it? Thank you

Yes, it's possible. a google search reveals a few locations where you can download that particular font.
Then a simple double click on the font should bring up the install font dialogue.
Have a browse here, a few ways to install fonts into Ubuntu..
